Something that has been helpful for me, as suggested to me by my dear friend we’ll call “LJ”, is to track a few things daily. When I do track what I do to my body, along with how I feel, I gain insight into possible patterns. Albeit inconsistently. Nonetheless, attempts have been made (6 days in a row once, ha!). For example, I’ve learned that around a specific time of the month, I tend to mimic my PMS symptoms -even though I’m in menopause. So, I’ve discovered I may be even more sensitive, have intensified cravings, and experience disrupted sleep during that timeframe each month. I’m currently focusing on being more consistent with tracking my exercise, sleep, pleasure, meditation, and eating habits. And knowing gives me a chance to be gentle with myself.

Here are some simple options for capturing activities and habits, on a weekly or monthly basis. What’s so special about these habit trackers? Nothing! But you’re here now, and they’re just a click away my friend. You can see them before you even choose to dowload. *One of them includes a list of mood descriptors in case that’s useful for ya.
